When using waenganui there are always at least two things that an object can be between so to add in the other object we use the following structure.�

Kei waenganui i te tirou me te koko te maripi - Between the fork and the spoon is the knife
The te / nga rules still apply. If there were two spoons next to each other we would use:
Kei waenganui i te tirou me nga koko te maripi�
If there were two knives and one spoon we would use:
Kei waenganui i nga tirou me te koko te maripi.�
If there were two knives and two spoons we would use:
Kei waenganui i nga tirou me�nga koko te maripi.�
If there was, in the following order, one spoon, one knife and one spoon we would use:
Kei waenganui i nga koko te maripi - Between the spoons is the knife.
We do not have to do - Kei waenganui i te koko me te koko te maripi as the nga shows that there is more than one.
